Every Sunday in August we will be bringing live music and poetry to the Shuttleworth Gardens. Pack a picnic and join us for an afternoon of free performances from some brilliant artists.
This week we welcome:
Adie Sanders 12pm
Adie has been dividing his time between Lincolnshire and Scarborough but is now a resident of these parts. This will be his first gig in his new home. He’s looking forward to sharing his songs about love, loss, social justice and caremelised onion marmalade.
Toein’ in the Dark: 1:30pm & 3pm
‘From Buddy Holly and Bessie Smith to traditional folk tunes and songs, Toein’ in the Dark play them all. Plus their own original work and the best of regional songwriters.
Andrew, Carmel, Jen and Bob have played venues across the UK. With their distinctive vocals and harmonies plus fiddle, guitar, whistle, bodhran and accordion, you’re in for a lively musical treat! ‘
