Every Sunday in August we will be bringing live music and poetry to the Shuttleworth Gardens. Pack a picnic and join us for an afternoon of free performances from some brilliant artists.
This week we welcome:
Alan aka Professor Cooper 12pm
Alan has been playing Ukulele for 3 years and playing harmonica for over 20 years usually at local pubs and garden parties. He will be Playing covers on Ukulele of The Beatles, Bob Dylan, etc. and also some blues harmonica.
Philip Bull 1:30pm
Philip Bull is a musician and unicyclist from Scarborough. He mainly plays ukulele and guitar over a variety of genres. His original songs sound happy, usually with a bittersweet twist.
Marc Clough 3pm
Hull U.K based singer/songwriter from the Hull based rock trio Delta Vega. Playing acoustic shows with original songs with catchy hooks, sincere and poignant lyrics from the heart and gut.
Music will be interspersed with poetry read by local performers at 1pm and 2:30pm
All timings are approximate and subject to change. This is an outdoor event so please dress appropriately for the weather. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Service dogs only in this garden.
