South Cliff Sculpture Project – Pattern Finding Workshop

May 25 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

We are proud to announce the commissioning of three original stone sculptures created by local artists Steve Wintercroft and Graham Sykes. These sculptures, representing iconic animals—the Rabbit, Toad, and Cormorant—have been designed to celebrate the wide diversity of life within the garden and to encourage a playful exploration of nature.

The South Cliff Gardens Sculpture Project is set to enrich the community and the local ecosystem, leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come.

You are invited to join artist Sefton Freeman on a journey of discovery within the gardens, uncovering patterns, shapes, and stories that will breathe life into the new sculptures. Patterns developed in Sefton’s workshops will be used to texture the surfaces of the stone sculptures.

This is a free workshop but booking essential:

All ages are welcome to participate but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Beeforth’s Hive is located just of the Esplanade behind the Rose Garden.
