South Cliff Gardens Presents – Live Music and Poetry in the Italian Gardens

Live music and poetry returns to the Italian Gardens this summer.
We have another fantastic line up of super talented local performers and it’s all completely free so pack a picnic, bring a brolly (useful in sun or rain) and enjoy an afternoon of splendid entertainment.
12 pm Music from Adie Sanders
It’s always a treat to welcome brilliant singer/ songwriter Adie to the gardens with his outstanding catalogue of original folk songs.
12:45 pm Poetry from fabulously talented local poets Helen Birmingham, Jane Sudworth, Shirley Field
1:30 pm Music from The Scarborough Wellbeing Choir
This fantastic, inclusive local choir are back with a broad catalogue of joyous music that everyone is encouraged to sing along with.
2:15 pm Poetry from Helen Birmingham, Jane Sudworth, Shirley Field
3 pm Music from Phil Hooley
Closing out our program for the day is popular local Americana singer/ songwriter Phil Hooley showcasing a seamless blend of old west, blues, folk and soul.
