South Cliff Gardens Presents Live Music and Poetry in the Italian Gardens

Live music and poetry every Sunday afternoon in August in the Italian Gardens, South Cliff, Scarborough. Come and listen, absolutely free. Everyone welcome.
This week’s programme:
Music
12pm: The Garden Choir and Global Voices – two fabulous local choirs are teaming up to open our month of music.
1:30pm : Luke and the Beings – fun, quirky and toe tappingly catchy tunes from Luke Barker and his band.
3pm: Adie Sanders – legend of the Scarborough music scene, a powerhouse singer songwriter not to be missed.
Poetry
12:45pm/ 2:15pm: special appearance by nationally known Northumberland poet, Katrina Porteous, whose work has been featured at the Proms and short-listed for the prestigious TS Eliot Prize; supported by local poets Charlotte Oliver and Wendy Pratt.
The Italian Gardens have plenty of places to perch but feel free to bring your own chair, picnics encouraged and this being a British summer brollies/ waterproofs recommended as the show will go on what ever the weather.
Timings for guidance only. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult, dogs on leads are welcome in this garden.
