Nick Breckon is a valued member of Scarborough Borough Council’s South Cliff Gardening Team and he has been working towards achieving a Level 2 Diploma in Horticulture and Landscape at Bishop Burton College. The two year course is nearing its end and Nick and the other dedicated SBC employees on the course are well on the way to completing and passing the course with flying colours. A little added bonus for Nick and unknown to him was he’d been nominated for the Trainee Apprenticeship of the Year Award. Nick was up against some strong competition for the award, so we were very pleased to find out he’d won.
